Line Locates
You must place a locate request before doing any project which involves a ground disturbance. Three full working days notice is required for routine requests. Emergency locates will be done ASAP once they have been received.
Damaging unmarked gas pipelines is the responsibility of those involved in the ground disturbance. A line hit can be a dangerous situation to become involved in.
Any ground disturbance within 30 metres (proximity) of a Gas Co-op line should not be started without the Gas Co-op's consent.
Agreements for crossing Co-op lines or working in proximity to them can be requested without cost from one of the TRL Gas Co-op offices.
Work it safe and put in a locate request.
